The Rust Belt Market.

Finally a break from work, which means more time to blog and a visit home to Michigan. My first adventure home was visiting Ferndale’s Rust Belt Market. The Rusted Belt Market features vintage vendors, food stands, artists, collectors, & more. I probably went a bit crazy with the shopping, but I just couldn’t resist, the prices are non-existent in Los Angeles, and I love supporting Detroit’s artist community.

Want all the pieces below for my future apartment:

Wanted this so badly for shoe storage, too bad it would be impossible to take back to LA.

Loved this sign @ one of the artists booths.

Obsessed with this origami paper wall, where an artist was sketching free caricatures.

Recap.

Since I was MIA for about a month, here is a recap of photos while I was in Los Angeles & Vegas. Adventures. Work. Adventures. Work.

Believe it or not, we ended up running out of gas on our way to Vegas @ 1 am in the middle of nowhere…. We couldn’t even tell AAA where we were bc there was nothing around us but desert. It literally felt like we were straight out of a scary movie.

My key @ The Cosmopolitan Las Vegas.

A wild night @ Marquee Las Vegas.

Obsessed with these Brian Atwood’s I found @ Nordstrom Rack Costa Mesa. If you live in the Los Angeles area, you have to pay a visit to Nordstrom Rack Costa MesaIt’s INSANE.
